Ducks on sale throughout the Regatta, although numbers are limited

• Course from Pole Sand to Ferry Landing on Shaldon beach

• Finish line is mouth of the river

• £1 per duck entered

• Race subject to weather conditions

Recovery of Ducks

• Entries for duck collection taken at committee stand at 1pm prompt

• Recovery of ducks by rowing dinghies ONLY

• Committee regatta dinghies may be borrowed on a first come, first served basis

• Two oars only per boat

• Maximum of three children recovering ducks per boat, 14 years or under

• Competitors of 10 years and under must be in a boat with an adult

• Life jackets must be worn by under 16s

• Rower is responsible for safety of crew and not permitted to collect ducks

• No fishing nets to be used

• 5p per duck recovered
